Google Houston

Commissioned by Met/Gal Art + Advisors

This series of three paintings was based on an image from a trip I took to Scandinavia in October of 2019. The original photograph below, was an image of an area of intriguing ground cover textures and colors found in a park space outside of the Munch Museum in Oslo, Norway. The original source photograph is below.

The series was commissioned by Met/Gal Art + Advisors located out of Austin, Texas for the Google Houston offices which opened in 2020. Met/Gal featured a number of local artist’s work for Google’s Houston office located in the historic Houston Heights neighborhood. Detailed images of the panels are below.

The Commission Process

I have had the pleasure of collaborating with esteemed brands to create commissions for the hospitality, technology, and healthcare industries, as well as with individual collectors.

The commission process begins with a conversation to understand your vision and the story you want to tell. Typically, I submit a proposal with a selection of prospective images from my collection of photographs with pricing estimates based on the size and scope of the project. Once we agree on the details, I create a preliminary digital image for approval before I begin to paint. Throughout the painting process, I will provide progress images throughout the painting process.
