Europe and Scandinavia

Travel isn’t just about the destination; it’s a powerful experience that can profoundly change you. Each journey challenges my perceptions, opens my mind, and often hits harder than I expect. It is an ongoing opportunity to confront my fears, embrace new cultures, and explore unfamiliar landscapes. Since my initial overseas trip to Japan in 2017, I have traveled to France, Scotland, England, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Each destination has afforded me the chance to appreciate unique cultures, incredible architecture and cultured landscapes, amazing foods and the opportunity to catalogue a variety of source material for my work, whether in Monet’s garden in Giverny, or in the Danish countryside. Every destination I've visited has left its visual imprint on me and provided a wealth of inspiration.
